Open the app and click the "My Profile" button. On the "My Profile" screen, expand the "Medications" section.

Press "ADD NEW", and it will take you to the "Add Medication" screen. Type three or more letters and wait for a few seconds.

A list of medications will be returned. Press to select the appropriate medication - it will be added to the list.

If your search result does not return return a list of medications or does not exist in our database, press "REQUEST IT".

Your default email program should be opened up where you can send an email to support to have your medication added.

After selecting a medication, you can specify additional details of the medication such as brand, form, dosage, and strength. For medications that contain more than one ingredient, you will be asked to provide the strength for each medicinal ingredient.

The purpose section will allow you to select any pain conditions you wish to associate to the medications.

It is important to specify a Start and End Date for the medications. If an End Date is specified and it is not in the future, Manage My Pain will treat it as a medication you are no longer taking and automatically hide it from the "Add Pain Record" screen.

To make sure the medication is properly stored, press "APPLY CHANGES" - the new medication will be added to the list.

After the medication is added, a message will pop-up at the bottom of the screen that says "Medication successfully added".

Press the "three vertical dots" icon on the right-hand side of a medication.

You will be shown a pop-up at the bottom of the screen - select "Edit".

Alternatively, you can press a medication and you will be taken to "Edit Medications" screen directly.

On the "Edit Medication" screen, you can modify and update details of the medication such as brand, form, and strength.

If you wish to change your medication, press the "pencil" icon on the right-hand side and search for a new medication; however, if you are changing your medication, we strongly recommend you enter an "End Date" for the current medication and add your new medication separately.

To make sure the medication is properly stored, press "APPLY CHANGES".

Please note that editing a medication will also affect all pain records that are associated to that medication.

When you modify any of name, strength or strength unit, it will affect all pain records that had previously been associated to that medication.

A confirmation prompt will appear indicating how many records will be affected if you modified the value - press "CONTINUE". Otherwise, no prompt will be shown and you will proceed to the next step.

A pop-up window will ask "Delete medication?" to confirm deletion of the record. Press "DELETE".

Track medication consumption while adding a pain record
When recording pain, you will see all current medications automatically shown under the "Medications" section.

Choose the medication you took by selecting it and then optionally entering the dosage that you took during this pain record.

record impact of medication
Record impact of medication
For each medication that is selected, you can record the impact that it had on your pain by optionally selecting between "Better", "No Change", or "Worse".

Note: Some people find it easier to come back and enter this information after some time has elapsed and the medication has had a chance to take effect.

Open the app, scroll down to "Medications" card.

The medication effectiveness is represented as a percentage breakdown of each medication in terms of "Better", "Worse", or "No Change" within pain records.

Open the app, navigate to the "Results" screen and select the "Insights" tab. Scroll down and look for the "Ineffective Factors" and "Alleviating Factors" cards to view your medication effectiveness.

Open the app, navigate to the "Results" screen and select the "Charts" tab. Press "dropdown" list and select "Ineffective Factors" and "Alleviating Factors" to view your medication effectiveness.
